Apple Brandy

This wonderfully smooth, small-batch-production apple brandy is made from a ton-and-a-half of local apples straight from the tree, with no additions. Fermenting on the crushed apples allows for maximum flavor extraction. It’s distilled at 184 proof and reduced with distilled water to 89 proof for barreling, then bottled at 80 proof. Aged 8 1/2 months in Hungarian oak, this apple brandy imparts flavors of caramel and vanilla and further expresses complex flavors of very ripe, late season apples interlaced with nuances of cinnamon, naturally derived from the apple.
